Hi everyone,
Google has updated their blog website, and it does not seem to be supported by our computers at school. Therefore, I will post important updates when necessary but not every day. I apologize about the inconvenience. Hopefully it will be updated in the near future, and I can go back to putting up daily news.

Update - Tuesday, May 1st
Hi everyone,
I apologize for the lack of postings lately. It certainly doesn't have anything to do with lack of news. We had a VERY special visit with Ms. Thompson yesterday! She came in to catch us all up on her travels, to show us some very neat videos and to drop off some very generous souvenirs! Thank you so much, Ms. Thompson, for taking the time to do that. I'm sure we'll see her again soon :)
We have another short week ahead of us as there will be NO school on Friday, May 4th. Although the grade 4's will be responsible for Word Study, there will be NO Word Hunts this week.
In grade 4 math we have moved on to our Measurement unit over the past couple of weeks. We have been talking about dates, as well as focusing on telling time. This is a great unit to do real life practice at home. Discussing the time on analog clocks, how long activities take, or estimating time for certain daily tasks would be very helpful. We will also be covering area in this unit.
Here is the daily homework:
